I would love to see Heir Kitty win, this is a pathetic race situation.

The conditions say the race closed with 15 nominations, & even if Baffert had nominated 14 of the 15, that's not a bad return on his investment. In that case then Bob B put up a bit over 8 grand to get back a possible 98K, that comes out to around 12-1.

And if the Miller horse scratches I wouldn't even bother running the race, just give Baffert the purse & call it a day.

Baffert didn't put up the money for the noms, the respective owners of the horses he nominated did...And Baffert doesn't get the purse, his owners do..He gets 10% of the purse that his owners earn (plus 3% barn help from a first place purse)...And since each horse entered is owned by a different person/group, they need to bother running the race, in addition, that this will tell him where each horse is at, their ability and possible distance capabilties and where to point each horse after this..

Lmao!

I normally wager on the longer of Baffert's horses when he runs just two in a race. This race will be very complicated for me and I consider myself a mathematician.

Down side - Baff will have one (1) happy owner and three (3) pizzed-off owners to 'splain to what happened.
Thank God for the Federal Reserve. You can't have big government or big wars without them.
