Driving Directions

Del Mar is located just west of I-5 at the Via de la Valle exit, 20 miles north of San Diego and 100 miles south of Los Angeles. Exit Via de la Valle and head west to the Racetrack which is visible from the freeway.

Both Amtrak and Coaster (local commuter) trains stop at the nearby Solana Beach station. Del Mar provides a free shuttle (Double Decker buses) to and from the track. Get off at the Solana Beach station and look for the free double decker buses.
