Eastern invader Bigger Picture, a winner of 11 of 36 races and more than $1 million, is the morning line favorite versus seven rivals Friday in the Grade II $100,000 Hollywood Turf Cup at Del Mar.

Post time for the first race is 12:30 p.m.

Mike Smith has the call on Bigger Picture, the seven-year-old gelding by Badge of Silver sent west by Trainer Mike Maker to run in the Hollywood Turf Cup at the marathon distance of a mile and one-half over the infield Jimmy Durante Turf Course.

Opposing Bigger Picture will be Beach View, Rafael Bejarano; Krewe Chief, stablemate of Bigger Picture who will have Evin Roman aboard; Irish-bred Can’thelpbelieving, a Graham Motion-trained contender from the East Coast, with  Joe Talamo; Ashleyluvssugar, like Bigger Picture a winner of more than $1 million, in a 29-race career, with Tyler Baze; Marckie’s Water, Mario Gutierrez; Ya Gotta Wanna, Flavien Prat, and Chicago Style, Drayden Van Dyke.

The Hollywood Turf Cup is carded as the sixth event on an eight-race program.
