UMBERTO RISPOLI (Closing Remarks, winner) – “Look at this point either you go in and you go out. I didn’t want to give up too much ground to Oakhurst and I know that this filly does well sprinting late.  But as well I now that Turnerloose is a filly that can keep going, and I know that she was going to run well today. I ran my filly basically the way that I was feeling her. She bounced back from the race pretty well. The way she ran today I think she can run a mile and a quarter.”

CARLA GAINES (Closing Remarks, winner) – “I was a bit nervous to be honest because it was such a slow pace and she was a bit farther back than I expected her to be. But Umberto (Rispoli) said ‘Don’t worry about it, just give me the key,’ so that’s what I did.”
