With no perfect tickets in the Pick Six Thursday, Friday’s program of racing at Del Mar will feature a carryover of $39,886.

 

Post time for the first race Friday will be 12:30 p.m. with the Pick Six carded on the third through eighth races.

 

There was only one favorite who won in the Pick Six sequence Thursday -  Basmati who paid $5.40 in the seventh race.

 

Apprentice riders Bruno Panicucci and Ty Kennedy scored their first Del Mar victories Thursday. Paniccuci won the second race aboard I’ll Play My Hand at $3.80, while Kennedy scored on Pica at $12.20 in the third.

 

Attendance Thursday was 3,354.
