Pretty N Cool, whose lone loss in four starts was to two-year-old filly champion and Breeders’ Cup winner Songbird in the Del Mar Debutante last summer, tops a line-up of seven fillies in Sunday’s renewal of the $100,000 Desi Arnaz Stakes at Del Mar.

Post time for the first of nine races will be 12:30 p.m.

Pretty N Cool, a daughter of Scat Daddy from the powerhouse barn of trainer Bob Baffert, easily broke her maiden in her debut at Del Mar last July, came back to win the Sorrento Stakes in easy fashion and then finished second to Songbird in the summer’s championship race for juvenile fillies, the Grade I Del Mar Debutante. Subsequently, she won the Grade II Matron Stakes at Belmont Park a month ago.

Regular rider Martin Garcia again has the call on Pretty N Cool who figures to go postward a strong favorite in the seven-furlong Desi Arnaz.

Seeking to upset Pretty N Cool will be her stablemate, Treasuring (Victor Espinoza), Surfside Tiara (Rafael Bejarano), Street Fancy (Mike Smith), Lucky Folie (Gary Stevens), Patriotic Diamond (Santiago Gonzalez) and I’mflatoutsweet (James Graham).
