Unbeaten Bulletproof One will place her perfect three-for-three record on the line Wednesday versus eight two-year-old filly rivals in the $100,000 Generous Portion Stakes at Del Mar.
Bulletproof One, a daughter of Idiot Proof trained by Peter Miller, is untested in her career, winning a maiden race at Golden Gate Fields by eight lengths, the Everett Nevin at Pleasanton by nine and one-quarter lengths and, most recently, the C.T.B.A. Stakes by six and one-quarter lengths July 31 at Del Mar.
Leading rider Flavien Prat has the call on Bulletproof One, whose opposition will include Vegan, Mario Gutierrez; I Want One, Abel Cedillo; Smiling Shirlee, Norberto Arroyo, Jr., and Been Studying Her, Mike Smith, all of whom won their last races.
Completing the line-up of California-bred fillies are Wise Rachel, Joe Talamo; Roses for Laura, Geovanni Franco; Unchain Her Heart, Edwin Maldonado, and Cholula Lips, Rafael Bejarano.
Post time for the first of eight races Wednesday is 2 p.m.
